Advanced Data Engineer

Magnus is seeking experienced Advanced Data Engineers to design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and platforms. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in data engineering, cloud platforms, and modern big data tools.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data

• Implement advanced data solutions across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for analytics and machine learning models

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Architects to deliver business insights

• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance of data systems

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python, SQL, and distributed computing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop)

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, GCP BigQuery, or similar)

• Expertise in ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, Apache Airflow, etc.)

• Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and real-time data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis)

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
