Waiter Job Description

Greeting guests: Warmly welcoming customers as they arrive and providing initial seating arrangements.

Managing reservations: Taking and confirming reservations, managing waitlists, and accommodating special requests.

Seating guests: Directing customers to their assigned tables efficiently.

Taking orders: Accurately recording customer food and beverage choices.

Serving food and drinks: Delivering orders promptly and attentively, ensuring proper presentation.

Handling payments: Processing customer bills, accepting cash and credit cards, and managing change.

Addressing customer concerns: Resolving issues or complaints promptly and professionally.

Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping dining areas clean and organized, including clearing tables and resetting silverware.

Upselling: Suggesting additional menu items to enhance the customer experience.
