Lead Cook Job Description

As a lead cook, you will work with the Chef de Cuisine to lead our team. We're a small kitchen with a small team so we like to prioritize teamwork and organization. You'll oversee the staff to make sure the kitchen is in smooth operations and help train our cooks and manage our prep lists daily. In the CdC's absence, you will be empowered to make the best decisions for our restaurant and guests.

An ideal candidate's qualifications for the position:

At least 2 years of line cooking experience (leadership experience highly valued)
Some knowledge about Asian cooking (familiarity with Korean cuisine highly valued)
Ability work clean and organized
Strong knife skills
Drive to create, make food taste and look beautiful
Strong teamwork, be able to work in a small kitchen

We offer:

$24-$26/hr doe plus tips (Tips are usually about $2-$4 extra per hour, depending on sales, average of $3/hour is an acceptable expectation)
