Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
• Maintain positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and team members
• Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental milestones and learning progress
• Manage daily routines including meals, naps, transitions, and activities with structure and compassion
• Communicate effectively with families regarding children’s experiences, behavior, and progress
• Ensure all health, safety, and licensing standards are consistently met
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning sessions
• Step into a leadership or support role as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, including:
• Child Growth & Development
• Child, Family & Community
• Curriculum for Early Childhood Education
• Practicum/Student Teaching
• (Infant/Toddler Development is a plus)
• AA or BA in Child Development, ECE, or related field preferred
• 2+ years experience working in a licensed preschool or childcare setting
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Immunization records (MMR, Tdap, flu)
• Background check and fingerprint clearance
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and whole-child development
