We are looking for highly motivated Chef de Parties to join our kitchen team at Maxime's. Under the mentorship of our Sous Chefs, you will have the opportunity to learn, create, and maintain the high-quality standards of our dishes. Successful candidates will be supported in their growth within our kitchen and encouraged to pursue their culinary aspirations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work with fresh, high-quality ingredients and assist senior chefs in preparing and executing refined dishes.
Assist with daily mise en place and support the kitchen team in delivering fine dining service standards.
Maintain the highest health, sanitation, and safety standards in food handling and overall cleanliness.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar culinary role.
Strong background in fine dining.
Professional and polished leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
Strong work ethic with a customer-focused mindset.
Culinary training and a passion for growth, aspiring to develop as a Sous Chef.
Stable work history.
Food safety certification.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Passionate, curious, sincere, entrepreneurial, driven, empathetic, and highly motivated.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Flexibility to adapt to job demands and openness to completing various tasks.
Ability to operate and use all necessary restaurant equipment.
