Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and dedicated QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic IT Software team in New York, NY. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range between $95,000 and $98,000 per year. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure product quality. You will also be working in an Agile environment, using languages like Java and Python, and tools like QTP and Selenium. This position is open to US Citizens, Green Card holders, and candidates with H4, L2, STEM, and OPT visas.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $98,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time role that offers the opportunity for both permanent and contract-to-hire employment.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience in software quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
