.NET Developer Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality applications using Microsoft’s .NET framework. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and SQL Server, along with frontend development exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain web applications using .NET technologies.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in C# and ASP.NET Core/MVC.
Work with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, optimization).
Collaborate with UI developers to integrate front-end and back-end systems.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting issues.
Ensure applications follow security best practices and meet performance requirements.
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) – design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Work in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2–5 years of experience as a .NET Developer.
Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core.
Proficiency in Entity Framework (EF), LINQ.
Experience with SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, functions).
Frontend skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
