 We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven FP&A Manager to lead financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting efforts. This role will support firm-wide strategic initiatives and deliver insights that drive profitability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of financial data, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the annual budget and reforecasting processes, coordinating with department and branch office leaders.
• Develop, review, and deliver financial reports and presentations, including weekly, monthly, and annual performance metrics.
• Perform detailed variance analysis (actuals vs. budget) across departments, offices, and projects with accompanying narrative and insights.
• Conduct analysis of revenue generation, capital expenditures, expense allocations, and profitability.
• Partner with leadership on key firm initiatives by building financial models, conducting data mining, and providing actionable insights.
• Identify and develop new business models and frameworks to better understand profitability by practice area or department.
• Enhance decision-making by integrating data from multiple sources and improving access to critical business intelligence.
• Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards for senior management using Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
• Lead efforts to improve financial reporting capabilities through process improvements and system enhancements.
• Support technical system integrations, including data extraction and uploads across aggregate storage systems.
• Manage cross-functional finance improvement initiatives, coordinating efforts across multiple departments.
• Document business models, technical processes, and changes to ensure transparency and consistency.
• Serve as the Finance liaison to branch and department heads, improving communication and alignment on financial performance.
• Information Security & Compliance
• Comply with firm information security policies and safeguard sensitive firm and client data.
• Report potential security events, risks, or breaches in accordance with policy.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, or similar roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Oracle Hyperion Essbase, SQL, and data reporting tools.
• Strong financial analysis, cost accounting, and modeling expertise.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or within cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a legal or professional services environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Elite 3E or similar professional services accounting systems.
• Understanding of legal/professional services data structures and profitability models.
