Part Time Sales Associate Jobs in Moattari Menswear Edison, NJ

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with tux and suit rentals, the sell of suits and tuxedos as well as learning light sewing. Training is provided by ALI (the owner and operator)

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in renting and purchasing menswear and formalwear.
• Engage with customers to provide information about various styles, latest trends and preferences of suit colors.
• Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
• Measure each client for rental suits and tuxedos.
• Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Answer phone calls and set up appointments for wedding consultation and fittings.
• Adhere to company policies regarding phone etiquette when answering customer calls.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with customers.
• Basic understanding of retail math concepts to assist with pricing and inventory management.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
