New Castle Nursing & Rehab is currently seeking a compassionate and talented Licensed Beautician to provide personal grooming and salon services to our residents. This position plays an important role in enhancing the quality of life and self-esteem of residents through professional haircare and grooming.

Responsibilities:

• Provide hair care and grooming services to residents including haircuts, shampoos, sets, perms, and coloring in accordance with state regulations.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the salon area.
• Schedule appointments and manage services according to resident preferences and facility guidelines.
• Build rapport and establish a trusting relationship with residents, delivering a positive and comfortable experience.
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure resident needs are met.

Qualifications:

• Valid Cosmetology or Beautician License in the state of Kentucky.
• Prior experience working with the elderly or in a long-term care facility preferred, but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful of residents’ dignity and privacy.
