Full Time Pharmacy Manager Jobs in Hancock Pharmacy New Haven, CT

We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead our Long Wharf location. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of pharmaceuticals and demonstrate strong attention to detail in verifying prescriptions and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all incoming orders
• Evaluate medication appropriateness based on diagnosis
• Perform clinical checks on all types of prescriptions (faxed, verbal, electronic, paper)
• Communicate as necessary with physicians, NPs, PAs, Directors of Nursing, healthcare staff, patients, and payors
• Provide clinical counseling regarding proper medication therapy
• Review and verify all filled orders prior to delivery
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per regulations
