 As Sous Chef, you’ll work directly under the Chef de Cuisine, helping to lead kitchen operations, uphold culinary excellence, and support the ongoing evolution of our menu. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual ready to take the next step in their culinary career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing daily kitchen operations
• Oversee ordering, inventory, and food cost management
• Help lead recruitment, hiring, scheduling, and team development
• Supervise quality control of all food preparation and execution
• Create and document innovative, visually compelling dishes
• Respond to special guest requests and seasonal changes with custom menu items
• Maintain high sanitation and food safety standards
• Troubleshoot kitchen issues swiftly and effectively
• Lead BOH systems including walkthroughs, temp logs, prep lists, and line checks
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef on R&D and menu innovation
• Contribute to accurate monthly P&L review and inventory processes

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in a Sous Chef position
• Background in steakhouses is a plus, but not required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Highly organized and efficient under pressure
• Comfortable with high-volume kitchen operations
• Passionate about hospitality and team success
• Dedicated to cleanliness, safety, and consistency

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs as needed
• Stand/walk for extended periods, including stairs and slippery surfaces
• Work in both hot and cold kitchen environments
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies
