Cashier Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Server/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle customer orders and payments efficiently, providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu options
Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate the cash register
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas
Assist with bussing tables and ensuring a clean dining area
Promote specials and upsell additional items to customers
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders

Qualifications:

Experience in the food industry, preferably in a server or cashier role
Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
