The Administrative Assistant will provide support to our Marketing and Communications team. This role is the perfect opportunity to learn about, and get hands-on experience in the marketing industry. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and meetings, preparing correspondence, and maintaining files. They will also help to create and edit marketing collateral, brainstorm ideas, and document marketing data for projects.
Essential Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications
- Work with marketing team to support brand and marketing initiatives
- Assist with the setup, facilitation, and completion of marketing events
- Assist in organizing campaigns and marketing strategies
- Conduct basic market research as needed by the department
- Gather and analyze data on campaign success and document results
- Help produce and distribute marketing materials and collateral
- Help manage and update databases and other information systems
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships across the range of our stakeholders
- Organize and distribute SWAG
- Provide support to the marketing department
- Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives
- In-person collaboration is an essential function of the job.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field or 2+ years of experience in an office administration position

- Proficiency in administrative skills
- Proficiency in computer skills, including software (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, etc.), operating systems, and applications
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem solving-skills
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Solid understanding of communications practices and digital marketing strategies
- High standards for quality product; attention to detail
- Demonstrable ability to multitask for multiple individuals and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong grasp of analytics and media monitoring preferred
- Knowledge of image development and editing software (Photoshop, Canva, or similar) preferred
- Experience with email marketing tools (MailChimp, etc.) a plus
