Job Summary – Entry-Level Quality Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Entry-Level Quality Analyst to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of software testing principles and a passion for ensuring product quality. This role involves assisting in testing web and mobile applications, identifying bugs, documenting issues, and working closely with developers to deliver high-quality software. Familiarity with testing tools, automation concepts, and Agile methodologies is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design and execution of test cases for web, mobile, and backend applications.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand project requirements and define test plans.
Perform manual testing to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues across platforms.
Document test cases, test results, and defect reports in tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Help with the setup and execution of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Postman, or JUnit (as applicable).
Verify fixes and perform regression testing for resolved issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and overall software quality.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
Learn and apply best practices for software testing, version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows.
