Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. This role involves quality assurance, functional testing, scripting, and quality control. You will use tools such as Java, Selenium, Python, and QTP/Selenium to ensure the software's functionality and integrity. This role is available on a W2-Permanent and W2-Contract basis, and we welcome candidates with Valid Work Visas, US Citizenship, Green Card, EAD/TN, H4, F1, L2, STEM, OPT, CPT.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing to ensure the software meets the specified requirements.
• Use scripting languages such as Python to automate repetitive tasks.
• Use tools such as Selenium for quality assurance and control.
• Collaborate with the development team to improve the software's functionality.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in software testing or a related field.
• Knowledge of Java, Selenium, Python, and QTP/Selenium.
• Experience with functional testing and quality assurance/control.
• Valid work visa, US citizenship, Green Card, or other valid work authorization.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Java for developing automated tests.
• Proficiency with Selenium for performing web-based software testing.
• Good grasp of Python for scripting and test automation.
• Familiarity with QTP/Selenium for quality assurance and control.
