Job Overview

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and problem-solving Software Tester to join our team in Newton, NJ. In this role, you will work collaboratively with our dedicated IT team to deliver top-quality software through comprehensive, effective and innovative testing strategies.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases to diagnose issues and bugs, creating test data when required.
• Perform manual testing, which may include exploratory, system, regression, compatibility or integration testing for software applications developed in Java.
• Implement automation testing using Selenium, SOAP UI and QTP.
• Contribute in quality assurance aspects, ensuring the performance, reliability, stability and compatibility of our software products.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $25 - $35 per hour. The specific salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years of experience in software testing or related field.
• Must have a valid work visa, US Citizen, Green Card, EAD/TN, H4, F1, L2, OPT, CPT.
• Experience in IT Software / Services is preferred.

Skills

• Proficient in QA/Testing methodologies and tools.
• Experience in Web Services testing.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Selenium, SOAP UI, Python and QTP/Selenium.
• Expertise in manual testing techniques.
