Job Overview

We are currently seeking a QA Automation Tester to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. As a QA Automation Tester, you will be expected to bring your expertise in Web Services, Actuate, Java, and QTP/Selenium to our team.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated testing frameworks and solutions.
• Work collaboratively within a team of developers, designers, and business analysts to deliver software solutions.
• Identify, document, and track software defects found during testing.
• Contribute to the development of our QA strategy and methodology.
• Keep up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $88000 to $118000 per year, contingent upon the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experiences. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 0-3 years of experience in the IT Software field.
• Ability to work under Corp-Corp, W2-Permanent, W2-Contract, 1099-Contract, or Contract to Hire terms.
• Must be a US Citizen, hold a valid work visa, or have a Green Card.
• Experience in IT Software/Services is required.

Skills

• Proficient in Web Services, with a focus on developing, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with Actuate, a software for creating and managing reports and business intelligence applications.
• Strong programming skills in Java, a widely-used programming language in the IT industry.
• Experience with QTP/Selenium, tools used to automate browsers for testing web applications.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, a set of practices that promotes continuous iteration of development and testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Strong quality assurance skills, with an emphasis on detecting and resolving software defects.
