Responsibilities:
Must be knowledgeable regarding all Local, State and Federal DOT Rules and Regulations
Coordinate all inbound, outbound, and cross dock shipments utilizing company fleet, company warehouses and/or 3rd parties.
Make freight delivery appointments, as required
Make sure all paperwork is handled timely and correctly;Tracking inbound and outbound shipments.
Arranging multiple modes of transportation
Perform administrative functions necessary in the daily operations
Provide excellent customer service to our customers
Make phone calls and send e-mails as necessary
A commitment to complete & accurate dispatch
Requirements:
Social Skills, good interpersonal/team player attributes
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Dispatcher must be fluent in English and Spanish preferred
Experienced in dispatching drivers and resolving their problems
Must be willing be work in a fast paced environment.
Must have good problem-solving skills and have the ability to utilize them to make decisions
Track & Trace Shipments for the warehouse, internal and external customers.
Must have excellent customer service skills you will be interacting with customers.
