La Garconne is seeking to fill the position of a Talent Resource Manager. The role will represent La Garconne as a brand ambassador, who not only devises and executes strategies for sourcing and screening candidates, but also establishes a corporate framework policy for performance management, talent assessment and employee development. Engage with department leads and senior management to understand the process, roles and responsibilities of each department and individuals in order to understand hiring needs and defining requirements
- Implement and manage policy related to employee relations issues and procedures for interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, and performance reviews
- Drive and manage the full life cycle recruitment process: sourcing both active and passive candidates, screening, administering pre-employment assessments, reference checking, presenting/negotiating job offers, and declining candidate applications
- Create and manage talent pipelines specific to respective functions, minimizing the time to fill future open positions
- Coordinate training activities/events related to leadership and on-going employee development
- Properly maintain documentation of all coaching, counseling, career development and disciplinary actions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of talent trends, knowledge of recruiting issues, labor laws, and competitive market practices
- Develop and manage reward, recognition and motivational programs
- Develop, implement and maintain quantitative and qualitative metrics to measure success of the talent acquisition processes
qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a talent acquisition, talent management or human resources role, including 3+ years experience in direct staffing/recruitment
- Proven ability to recruit at all levels, from entry level to executive positions across various departments
- BS/BA required in Human Resources or a related field
- Experience in luxury retail preferred
- Strong negotiation skills/salary and benefits mediation
- Capacity to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels in the organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
- Excellent managerial, interpersonal and organizational skills
