Supports the Human Resources department by way of assisting and/or directing employee inquiries. Assist with maintenance of the HRIS system. Responsible for maintaining HR department budgets. Supports the recruiting function as it relates to sourcing and on-boarding. Available to discuss topics with all levels of employees and management. Effectively communicates employee policies and procedures. Protects confidential information including files in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations including company policy. Promotes positive public and team member relations. Presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times. Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge of the HR benefits billing processes. Conducts routine audits of HRIS data for accuracy and to derive metrics. Responsible for creating and maintaining employee communications on electronic communication boards. Duties include but are not limited to assisting employees, answering phones, data entry, word processing, copying, filing, mail distribution and communication boards. Assists in other HR duties as assigned (i.e. badging, employee events, document tracking, etc.). Physical and Mental - Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to hear, speak and see. Ability to understand and comply with all company safety policies and their requirements. This includes attendance at training meetings as scheduled. Work/Educational Experience Bachelors degree or equivalent diploma. At least one year similar experience. Excellent grammar, pleasant phone manner and voice. Ceridian HPL and/or Dayforce experience is a plus. Must have excellent PC skills including prior experience with Microsoft Office software. Must be friendly, outgoing, congenial and a team player. Minimum 18 years old and able to obtain and retain appropriate licenses pursuant to NY State Regulations.
