As a Biotechnologist , I am passionate about applying my knowledge and skills in molecular biology, conjugation, and analytical techniques to develop and optimize novel formulations and methods for mRNA delivery and encapsulation. I have a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology from Hochschule Anhalt, where I completed my thesis on the characterization of mRNA encapsulation in lipid nanoparticles (LNP) at BioNTech SE, a leading company in the field of mRNA-based therapeutics.
During my thesis project, I worked on various methods and assays to measure the spacing and distribution of RNA in and out of LNP formulations, such as RiboGreen assay, UV spectroscopy, gel electrophoresis, ultrafiltration, and more. I also developed a UV/Vis assay that could be used for comparison with the RiboGreen assay in the future. In addition, I performed strong anionic exchange chromatography method development and endotoxicity tests for clinical trials. I worked closely with the CMC and analytical departments, and used various instruments such as PTS NextGen, Denovix, UV Mini, HPLC, DLS, Zeta Potential, and Mass Spectrometry. I gained valuable experience in working with LNP/mRNA related analytical techniques, such as plate-based fluorescence assays, HPLC, and LC/MS.
I am looking for opportunities to work in a growth-oriented environment with challenges and responsibilities that allow me to contribute to the advancement of mRNA-based technologies and therapeutics. I am confident to excel in the field of biotechnology, where I can leverage my communication, laboratory, and analytical skills, and collaborate with a dynamic team that works towards the common goal of improving human health and well-being.
