Voices Together Careers in Chapel Hill, NC

Voices Together is an innovative non-profit organization serving the Triangle and Triad areas of North Carolina. The Voices Together program is a proprietary interactive educational model that is music-based. The program uses music, education and therapeutic techniques all synchronized in an integrated program to unlock communication and socialization for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and at-risk populations. Individuals and students learn to speak and listen, initiate and express their thoughts clearly. Group members learn to make friends and support their group and to self-regulate their emotions and thoughts which in turn directly effect their ability to function well in vocational and community settings. Voices Together has been described as a “Best Practice” and has garnered awards and endorsements from the community.
