Veteran Franchise Initiative Careers in Austin, TX

The Veteran Franchise Initiative (VFI) is a benefit corporation providing Veterans with equity funding grants, enabling them to secure business financing for the purchase of a franchised business opportunity. Founded by Rich Ashe of Veterans Franchise Centers, and Mary McKeown-Christie and Tracey Nelson of MMS::Maven Marketing Solutions, VFI raises funds through donations from companies, groups and individuals and through a series of special events at MFV franchise expositions. Equity grants are issued to qualified Veterans and their prospective franchisor, allowing them to secure business loans for the launch of their own businesses. This program is the first private initiative of its kind, and provides a direct opportunity to help fund Veterans’ franchised businesses, creating a path to success, stability and dignity through self-employment.
