About The Jonathan May Foundation
The Jonathan May Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports the Metropolitan Area Youth Symphony (MAYS) by providing scholarships for MAYS students, funding for MAYS concerts, and support through fundraising initiatives. The primary mission of The Jonathan May Foundation is to provide the conditions possible to create an inclusive and nurturing environment for young music students from diverse social and economic backgrounds, so they may experience a classical music education, learn the fundamentals of musicianship, and receive the opportunity to perform with fellow musicians in rehearsals and concerts.
