The Fine Arts Film Festival Careers in Austin, TX

Santa Barbara-based art curator Lynn Holley and myself are the co-founders and co-producers of the Fine Arts Film Festival. Our motto sums up what we are all about, “The Art of Film, The Film of Art”. The Fine Arts Film Festival was created and launched in 2010 to bring filmmakers together who are also artists. It allows them to showcase their films about other artists and their own artistic creations. This visual presentation provides the audience with a more intimate, personal experience with art, as they not only view the art, but they have the opportunity to see and meet the artists, explore their lives and learn about the filmmakers who have created the films about the artists and their art. The Fine Arts Film Festival 2010 opened in Santa Barbara on November 21st and will continue on to Austin, TX, in 2011, (dates/locations TBA). We are open to submissions from filmmakers with films about art and artists. We accept long and short form documentaries and features and animations
