Texas Catholic Conference Of Bishops Careers in Austin, TX

The Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops (TCCB) is a federation of all Roman Catholic dioceses and ordinariates located in the State of Texas. Through the TCCB, all dioceses and ordinariates share in the expenses of joint activities that extend the ministry of the Texas bishops within the church community in four ways.There are about 8.5 million Catholics living in Texas, about 30% of the total population. We express our faith by worshiping in approximately 1,069 parishes and 247 missions in the diocese, with our priests (2,006), permanent deacons (1,934), religious sisters (1,980) and religious brothers (181). We grow in our faith through the eight Catholic colleges and universities, five diocesan seminaries, 13 religious seminaries, 56 high schools and 218 elementary schools, along with our parish-based religious education programs, which serve more than 350,000 students.
