ShedStreet is a community-centric experiment based on the premise that we all have too much stuff! We may have too much stuff but our desire to get more or "do" more remains strong. Enter ShedStreet. ShedStreet allows members within a community to effectively increase the amount of things to "do" without increasing the amount of stuff piled up in the garage. Let’s say for example you have an inkling to take up Kayaking. Your choices are: go to the local sporting goods store and buy one or go to the only rental shop in town that is located 20 miles away. Now, with ShedStreet, you can find neighbors that have a kayak that they use maybe once or twice a year. Try it out before you buy it or better yet try it out and then decide it is not for you. Or best, only rent it when you feel the need to get down to the lake.
