The founder Joy Stepanian began her journey in cosmetology while she was still in high school and took on her first salon job at 17. Over the following years, Joy continued her education by attending hair shows and classes, as well as experimenting on her own. Falling head over heels with not only the artistry of the career but the meaningful interactions with her clients, she established Motley Hair Studio in 2023.
