Labouré is a small, urban, private, Catholic college. Our distinct focus is education for practice in the health sector. Founded in 1892 and re-established with degree-granting authority in 1971, the college has a history of educating health professionals for practice dating back to the Carney Hospital Training School for Nurses and the Catherine Labouré School of Nursing. We grant the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (for RNs) and the associate in science degree in nursing (RN) and in allied health. Labouré is a non-residential college. All students commute to the college and to clinical rotations. We are located minutes from public transportation in the Lower Mills section of Boston.
