My work focuses on the failures and frustrations in life; the things we have to go through or deal with that we have no real control over. I primarily paint on large, raw, un-stretched canvas which is screwed or nailed directly to the wall. The work can be hung like a tapestry or framed depending on need and budget. I use, almost exclusively, water-based acrylic paints straight from the local hardware store. I occasionally add other mediums such as melted wax, dry wall putty, or use glue to attach items including extra canvas and bubble wrap. I see no need in adhering to formality or tradition when it comes to style and technique. The important thing is communicating an idea. My work is intentionally left untitled, allowing the viewer every opportunity to experience it in their own way. Specialties Painting, Large unstretched canvas
