Catfish Hox Is a Locally Owned Mom & Pop.Our idea began while Phil (Owner, Executive Chef) was a United States Marine Crew Chief. He was sent to combat 3 times and on his final return home from war he was determined to open his very own FRESH Southern Food Restaurant with a Cajun Twist. With the help of his wife Vivian who had a strong background in Business Marketing & Human Resources they Opened Catfish Hox In September 2016.Chef Phil trained with Japanese Chef's at the age of 14, and joined the United States Marines in 2001. Chef Phil's Culinary Mastery has earned him honorable mentions in the AJC, The Atlanta Magazine & Taste Of Marietta's Best Seafood Winner 2018 & 2019.Our most recent accomplishment was receiving the Golden Spatula Award and being featured on CBS 46's Restaurant Report Card.
