Beacon College Careers in Mount Dora, FL

Beacon College is designed for students with learning disabilities and ADHD. Class sizes are small to promote individualized learning, and each student is assigned a Learning Specialist, a trained professional who can assist with teaching skills such as time management and organization, as well as help students prepare for exams and assignments. The student-centered college is unique because it offers resources such as a Center for Student Success, a Writing Center with assistive technology, a Math Lab, and a Counseling Center. There are also additional supplemental offerings such as life coaching and a fun travel abroad program in the summer. The College is located in Leesburg, Florida and currently has 186 students enrolled.
