Animeals got its start in Austin, Texas. Karen Posada was inspired by her first born son's imagination. As a picky eater she began making bento boxes and frozen meals with animated characters in hopes her son would eat a healthy meal. Moms in local playgroups started asking if they could purchase the meals! That’s when our business was born. One of our most popular meals is Miss Cow because the pasta sauce is so yummy. Animeals Organic Pasta Sauce for Kids was created because the Moms complained that most of the sauces on the market were too acidic or spicy. We formulated a sauce that is not salty, sour, spicy or bitter. We use San Marzano tomatoes and fresh carrots to give it a hint of sweetness. Our mission is to create delicious food that is also fun to eat. The flavors are outstanding and the characters are adorable. The perfect combination for a child's meal!
