Cook Job Description

Join our dynamic culinary team at Oakhurst Country Club! We’re seeking a skilled and service-oriented Cook who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality food and service.

Your Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook meals to meet our club’s high-quality standards.
Ensure timely and efficient order execution, including banquets and events.
Follow food safety and sanitation practices at all times.
Communicate kitchen equipment issues to the chef promptly.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with supply ordering and storage.
Maintain clean and temperature-controlled storage areas.
Follow recipes and production guidelines for consistency and accuracy.
Reduce food waste through efficient prep and portioning.
Participate in training, team meetings, and safe work practices.

What You Bring:

Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts OR at least 2 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety.
Ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff.
ServSafe Certification preferred but not required.
