Tap the Interviewers interest in hiring you

Tricks can sometimes work in the favor of the person who does it to create a facade of their interest for the other person to believe. Just because if someone talks politely and in a sweet manner doesn’t mean that their intention is open as their expression.

It can sometimes be the passive method to deceive or reject. You might think that the job is in your hands as the interview went on smoothly and you could able to build a good rapport with the interviewer. But it should not be the only case to judge the opinion of your interviewer.

Here are some scenarios that would indicate that the hiring manager or the interviewer is not interested in hiring you and the ways to tackle such situations,

Reduced time slot

You would have been said that the interview will happen for 45 minutes, but to your surprise the interviewer would have wrapped it up within 20 minutes. This usually happens because of poor scheduling and most of the hiring managers tend to interview the candidates with the preset mind, that they should not hire them.

In this case, even when the interviewer keeps himself away from asking questions, you can probe him/her with a list of questions to keep him engaged provided if you’ve prepared one before the interview.

Easy cracking questions

Asking dead easy questions and therefore concluding the process is another sign that reveals the disinterest of the job hirer.

If you come across this situation inform the hiring manager about the similarity of the position in your previous organization and feed him with how much you can deliver with your experience for their organization

Half-cooked interview

Few of the half cooked recipes might be good to taste and for health but when it comes to an interview the flow should be integrated. At one point of time, they would say that ‘Alright, Thank you and all the best for your job search; we will keep you informed about further proceedings here’.

Remember if they require a resource for a particular position, they should make the process as soon as possible and dragging the process won’t benefit them in any case. Of course, they would be aware of this.

Your job here is to ask the interviewer about the rest of the process in detail and the exact time stamp for it. If the interviewer failed (or intentionally refused) to ask about your availability incase if you’ve cracked the interview, don’t forget to ask yourself to the hiring manager.

Keep these simple tactics in your mind during and post the hiring process, so that you can spin the heads of the interviewer and even change their opinion that would give you a positive result.
