Software Engineer Job Description

This full-time position offers flexibility for remote, in-person, or hybrid work arrangements. TLS provides competitive compensation, bonuses, a comprehensive 401K plan, and health insurance.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in software engineering
  • Proficiency in Python and the QT framework
  • Proficiency in C#/C++ and .NET with Visual Studio
  • Must be a US Citizen

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of extensive Software Engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience in UI design
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in implementing NIST cybersecurity controls and encryption methods.
  • Familiarity with wireless networking technologies and protocols, TCP/IP, HTTPS, UDP, Web socket, including LoRaWAN
  • Familiarity interfacing with embedded systems from UI through RS-232, USB, etc.
  • Familiarity with concurrency programming, multi-thread, and race condition handling
  • Experience in developing cloud applications
