QA Analyst Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on large datasets. You will play a key role in generating insights that help drive business decisions, optimize performance, and identify growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and patterns.
Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and build performance tracking systems.
Translate complex data findings into clear and actionable business insights.
Assist in designing A/B tests and interpreting their results.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve data collection and quality.
Document analytical methodologies and maintain data dictionaries.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst for our New York-based team at Magnus Technologies Inc. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary between $130,000 - $140,000 per year. The ideal candidate is a US citizen, with a valid work visa, Green Card, H4, L2, STEM, OPT, with a strong background in IT Software / Services.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure the quality of our software through rigorous testing and debugging.
Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures.
Work closely with the development team to understand product specifications.
Report and document technical issues.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience and skills.

Qualifications

5-6 years of experience in a QA role.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.

Skills

Proficient in ASP .Net, C SHARP, Web Services, Android, and Java.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
