Liberate Foods is unique with our in-house product development specialising in plant-based products, backed by India’s top Chef, Chef Manu Chandra and some of the worlds best investors in the sector.

We are launching Shaka Harry in the US and looking to hire our on-ground sales and marketing team in the US.

As a Regional Sales Manager at Shaka Harry, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and driving sales growth. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with Indian ethnic retailers and HORECA customers across the US. This role requires prior experience with food brands or distributor representation, a deep understanding of the Indian ethnic retail market, and a willingness to travel extensively.

 Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth within the Indian ethnic retail and HORECA sectors.

- Identify and target potential customers, build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.

- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at Indian ethnic retailers and HORECA establishments.

- Conduct product presentations, negotiate terms, and close sales deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery to customers.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.

- Provide valuable feedback to the product development team to improve our product offerings.

- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

- Proven track record of at least 5 years in sales roles within the US, representing brands or distributors.

- Prior experience and strong connections within the Indian ethnic retail market in the US.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

- Willingness to travel extensively across the US.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability.

- Knowledge of plant-based and vegan food products is a plus.
