 Support Technician

We are looking for a skilled Hardware Support Technician to provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, hardware, and peripherals. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, customer-focused, and capable of troubleshooting and maintaining IT equipment to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware devices.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, system errors, and peripheral malfunctions.

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.

• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and perform hardware upgrades as needed.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.

• Perform routine maintenance and system checks to prevent downtime.

• Document support activities, incidents, and resolutions.

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in hardware support or IT helpdesk.

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, networking basics, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified preferred.

• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.).

• Familiarity with IT asset management and procurement.
