Job description:

• Recruit, mentor, and support successful Loan Originators and branch staff
• Monitor and manage daily production activity to ensure a high level of efficiency and profitability
• Communicate business goals and objectives with sales staff
• Promote and effective sales environment through training, individual, and team coaching and sales contacts
• Actively participate in local and state mortgage banking, relator, and builder trade associations
• Manage file slow and validate files are submitted within company guidelines and policies
• Pipeline management

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years recent mortgage banking or retail branch experience
• 2 years previous management experience
• Verifiable track record of recent successful purchase and referral-based sales volume
• College degree preferred
• Maintain a thorough understanding of mortgage industry guidelines, regulations, trends, and current issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and time management and organizational skills
• Strong working knowledge of mortgage lending and requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
• Sales Act complaint and NMLS registered, ability to get licensed in multiple states is a plus
• Ability to create and communicate both short- and long-term vision and ability to focus on goals and objectives over a long period of time
