Position Summary: 

The Accounts Receivable Manager oversees the accounts receivable processes to ensure the efficient management of invoicing, collections, credit, memos, returns and reconciliation activities. This role involves leading a team, monitoring receivables, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. 

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

• Lead and support the accounts receivable team, delegating tasks and providing guidance to ensure effective performance.

Checks & Deposits:

•  Processing and depositing customer checks and accurate application to customer invoices and credits

Invoicing & Billing & Memo & Credits:

• Ensure timely and accurate generation of customer invoices, memos, credits and reviewing billing processes for efficiency. Creating shipping documents

A/R Collections Management:

• Emailing and calling customers for past dues and developing strategies for effective collections management, monitoring overdue accounts, and coordinating with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies.

Credit Management:

• Evaluate customer creditworthiness, establish credit limits, and monitor credit accounts for potential risks.

A/R Reconciliation and Reporting:

• Oversee reconciliation of accounts receivable transactions and prepare periodic reports for management review.

Memo Reconciliation and Reporting:

• Oversee reconciliation of open memos, memo returns transactions and prepare periodic reports for management review.

Return & Credit Reconciliation and Reporting:

• Oversee reconciliation of returns and credit transactions and prepare periodic reports for management review.

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements.

Compliance and Audit:

• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and support internal and external audits. 
  
  

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business

• Minimum of 3 year of accounting experience with knowledge of general accounting principles and practices

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable 

• Proficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, email, and accounting software.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong analytical skills 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required

• Excellent planning and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to new situations 

• Familiarity with Diaspark or QuickBooks is a plus, though not required.
