Minimum 3 years experience preferred from CPA firm
- Advanced knowledge of Quick Books required
Responsible for the following functions:
- Finalization of client’s accounts and review of work done by the book keepers
- Would also require accounting data entry as necessary, review and approving payroll processed for clients
- Preparing and filing sales tax returns & payroll tax returns for clients
- Assisting in the preparation of individual, corporate tax returns or review of tax returns
- Should be Proficient in MS Excel & Word
Job Overview
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at P&P Accountants & Tax Consultants. The candidate will play a vital role in managing our financial activities, ensuring the company's compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role is based in Metuchen, NJ, and offers an attractive salary ranging from $5000 - $7000 monthly. This is a W2-Permanent, Full Time position, and applicants must have a valid work visa including US Citizen, Green Card, EAD / TN, or H4.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting operations, including Taxation, Accounts Receivable, and Bookkeeping.
- Perform regular data entry and maintain financial records accurately.
- Manage payroll and ensure employees are paid on time.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management review.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, preferably in the Financial Services industry. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. Applicants should also have a solid understanding of accounting software, preferably QuickBooks.
