Job Description:

• Participate in the month-end closing process and make adjustments as necessary.
• Assist the Financial Manager with FP&A .
• Prepare documentation for external auditors.
• Work with the external auditors to ensure a clean and timely annual audit.
• Reconcile account monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Assist with billing and preparing tax documentation.
• Working with the Financial team to create internal control and policies.
• Collaborate with the Financial team to maintain financial records and system processes.
• Identify solutions if discrepancies in financial records are found.
• Provide consolidated financial reports to management.
• Ensure successful transactions (AP, AR, Payroll, Bank reconciliations).
• Analyze and report financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
• Provide financial analyses for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Participate in the Budgeting and Forecasting processes.
• Ad hoc reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for accurate and timely financial data
• Perform general accounting and treasury related duties for the organization
• Support preparation of monthly income statements and balance sheets
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare month-end accruals
• Support automated process of bank reconciliations, execute intercompany transfers, verify deposits, and be a key point of contact for the day-to-day treasury operations
• Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts
• Verify and/or complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure month-end closing is accurate
• Support month-end reporting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP regulations and other regulatory frameworks and internal policies and procedures
• Maintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
• Perform other analytical related duties as assigned and ad hoc accounting projects
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively experience in accounting
• Comprehensive understanding of GAAP
• Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups)
• Experience working with multiple entities and bank accounts
• Experience in financial reporting systems
• Navision and Concur experience – preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written that are clear and concise with experience preparing information for management team
• Strength in interpersonal skills with a proven record as a collaborative partner who drives for results
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and accounting skills
• Must have demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
