.NET Developer Job Description

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining web and enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core / .NET Framework, C#, and ASP.NET MVC.
Build and consume RESTful APIs / Web Services.
Develop data-driven applications and work with Entity Framework, LINQ, and SQL Server.
Collaborate with front-end developers and integrate with modern frameworks (Angular/React).
Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
Work with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3–7+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development.
Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, LINQ.
Experience with SQL Server / relational databases.
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (React/Angular) is a plus.
Experience in Agile/Scrum development.
Knowledge of Azure / AWS cloud services is preferred.

Nice to Have:

Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).
