Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend services / microservices using C# / .NET Core.

• Implement RESTful APIs, business logic, and data-access layers.

• Work with SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server / PostgreSQL) — design schema, write optimized queries.

• Ensure the application is secure, performant, and scalable.

• Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — Security, DevOps, QA, Product.

• Write unit tests, integration tests, and follow TDD / BDD practices.

• Work with CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment.

• Debug and troubleshoot issues in production / staging environments.

• Maintain documentation: design specs, API docs, runbooks, etc.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in C#, .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.

• Good understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.

• Experience building web APIs (ASP.NET Web API / ASP.NET Core).

• Proficiency in SQL and database design; experience with relational databases.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Experience using version control (Git, etc.).

• Understanding of concurrency, async programming in .NET.

• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, MSTest).

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Desirable / Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Docker and containerization.

• Experience working on security-sensitive applications or in the cybersecurity domain.

• Knowledge of Azure or AWS (especially for deployment / infrastructure).

• Exposure to messaging systems / queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools.

Education / Qualification:

• B.Tech / BE / MCA / MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

• Or equivalent experience.
