• Proven experience managing PostgreSQL databases, including optimization and performance tuning.
• Knowledge and experience using GitHub or other version control software.
• Familiarity with Snowflake or similar data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
• Kafka experience.
• Python or Golang experience
• Experience working with business requirements to create functional designs.
• Experience implementing logging and monitoring solutions for database and pipeline operations.

This role combines deep engineering expertise with database administration capabilities to drive high-performance data operations, ensure system reliability, and optimize workflows. Key responsibilities include supporting data-driven decision-making by architecting efficient data pipelines, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, and fostering collaboration across teams. A strong understanding of PostgreSQL, data warehousing, and tools like Snowflake, Kafka, and Python is essential. Familiarity with the telecommunications domain and tools like DataMesh and DataHub will be highly valued.
