QA Automation Tester Jobs in Technovera Texas City, TX

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit or similar frameworks

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test cases

• Build and enhance automation frameworks (Hybrid, Keyword, Data-driven frameworks)

• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI

• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.) for continuous testing

• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test data for different testing types: functional, regression, smoke, and integration

• Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to story grooming

• Review test coverage and provide input to improve software quality and release readiness

• Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures and results

Required Skills & Technologies:

• Hands-on experience in test automation with Java, Python, or JavaScript

• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, BDD frameworks

• Strong knowledge of REST API testing

• Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven)

• Good understanding of SQL and performing backend validations

• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices

• Bonus: Exposure to performance testing, mobile automation, and cloud testing platforms.
