About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable applications and APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, DevOps, and data engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Collaborate with front-end developers and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Work with relational and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.

• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

• Implement unit tests and ensure code quality with CI/CD pipelines.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services where required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of experience as a Python Developer.

• Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and object-oriented programming.

• Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Hands-on experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of asynchronous programming (Celery, asyncio).

• Experience with testing frameworks like PyTest or unittest.

• Exposure to data engineering tools (Pandas, NumPy, Spark).

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
