QA Automation Specialist RM Jobs in New York, NY at Top Level Consultancy

We are looking for a QA Automation Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of applications. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with automation tools, and a detail-oriented mindset.

?? Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.

• Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.

• Identify, document, and track defects using issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

• Perform regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Ensure continuous integration and deployment pipelines have automated quality checks.

• Provide detailed test reports and recommendations for quality improvements.

?? Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer/Specialist.

• Strong expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, TestNG, JUnit.

• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) & QA methodologies.

• Cloud testing experience (AWS Device Farm, Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).

• Performance/load testing with tools like JMeter or Gatling.

• Knowledge of BDD/TDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
